Hydro-Excavating

Hydro-excavating or commonly known as “potholing”  provides a non-destructive technique for locating underground systems. High pressure water combined with powerful vacuum methods removes ground material to aid in locating underground pipeline or power systems.

This soft technique reduces the damage inherent with mechanical digging equipment.  This method is widely accepted as the most efficient way to remove solid material in attempts to dig holes or remove matter around intricate underground systems.

Empire Pipe Cleaning’s fleet of powerful combination trucks are self – contained and use high pressure water up to 3000 psi to remove ground material.  Integrated vacuum equipment combined with debris tanks remove the water and solids during the excavation process.  These trucks have the capability to decant the liquids and ultimately dump the solids on or off site
